I wanna buy..
A few days ago, Selimlar invited Safa and Merve to carrefour. They ate their dinner ..walked around and later, all of them (selim, funda, zeynep, elo, safa, merve) went to Techno-SA (a shop) to buy a Printer and a DvD.After dealing with the payment of the things they bought, Selim told to the rest of the clan ....
"ben araba alalım (the direct translation to english would be..."i am going to buy a car")
and safa upon hearing this, in a shocked face said
"hu hah!! artık" (isnt it enough?..or something like that..)
What selim was trying to say was...he would go and take the carrefour trolley (in turkish..araba (car) can be referred to as trolley ) to carry all those things they bought. Safa mistakenly thought that selim would buy a real new car...it was a shock to him coz selim just bought one a few months ago!!
The right usage of specific words are indeed important huh?
