Selim..anlat bakalım

I was new in istanbul..not so new..new enough not to know turkish much. One day baba was hospitalised due to heart problem. Selim and Kerim were in the hospital.They rang our home to tell us about baba. Unfortunately, I was alone at home. Kerim upon hearing my voice on the phone immediately gave the phone to Selim...telling him to explain the situation in ENGLİSH since Selim knows English well.. So Selim took the phone..in a very very loud voice saying the words one by one ....telling me...

"Simah........
ben........
babama.....
hastane ya.....
göturduk.....
Tamam........
mı?".........

Selim hang up the phone and kerim said..*Congratulations Selim!! U spoke very well English!!*

Instead of telling me.."Simah, I had brought baba to the hospital" , he spoke to me in Turkish!!!
Bravo Selim!! *chuckles*
