Sewing

There we were...sitting in baba's living room....waiting for the people to pick halil and baba up for Ankara..Suddenly, baba turned to me and said.."can u sew this button of the shirt i am wearing?"..Speechless...Halil knows how good i am (from his very very personal experience*wink*) in sewing and ironing...2 things i try to escape if i can help it..What was i to say? Should i say "Ops sorry baba..ur bride is wonderful (ironically) in sewing"??? I asked mıstik to find the needle and thread. He found them. It took 2 people (kerim n mıstık) to make the thread go thru the hole of the needle (i used my not so good eyes as an excuse hehehe)..I went to baba....tried to sew the button..ahhh geeee what do u know?..the thread is not of a good quality..it split into two..Still, i tried my best (baba was wearing the shirt while i was sewing!!..and there was kerim..recording every single thing on his handycam!!!!!!!!!! hahaha Kerim.. Yup..i stitched the button up..Let us just hope that it stays in place at least for today..*chuckles*..But one thing i am sure of is..i dont think baba will ask me to sew anything for him anymore hahahahahahahahahahaha

P.s..Dearest hubby...a sewing machine will be a good gift for me! *wink*
