istanbul and transportation
Since istanbul is a city of 2 continents (Asia and Europe), it is common for the people to move daily in between these two continents to either go to work or go to school. If u have a car, there are the Bosphorus bridge and the Fatih Sultan Mehmet bridge which in traffic hours....phewwww...u dont wanna be in it..The other option is the ferries or vapur u call it. It is definitely less costly (prices of car oil in turkey is like oucccchhhhhhh...and to think that Malaysians complain of a few cent of oil price increase? Malaysians should feel soo lucky..) ..
Halil has done me the honour of snapping the photos of the old type ferries on his way to the university..Now IDO (istanbul deniz otobüsleri) has taken over the old ferry company, these new ferries will soon be a common sight as u cross over from Asia to Europe and vice versa on the ferry..a cute thought isnt it to say to yourself.. hmmm.. i am going to europe today... or i am going to asia today..
