These pictures are the reasons as to why i showed u all the pictures of hidiv kasrı...True, the building feature is nice..but for me it is most important because that was where we had our wedding (duğun) in istanbul...it was that night, on the 24th of September 1999 with around one hundred guests of close famly and relatives, i was formally introduced as part of the Zaim family.

It was basically a simple duğun...dinner...me and halil walking to every table, kissing everyone who came, cake cutting, photo snapping ...that sort of things.. Normally, in a wedding there will be dancing. Lucky for us of course, our wedding was quite recent after the 1999 big earthquake in turkey. Therefore, music was banned in weddings etc in respect of the lives lost in the earthquake. ..Else...hehehe i cannot imagine me n halil dancing!! We both do not dance!!

hmmm...just look at halil and i there..we were still so slim and handsome n pretty...(perasan la ni heheheh)..and Yes..hidiv kasrı will always be a special place for us...

P.s ..notice the make up too..very natural look...i still wonder why in Malaysia people still insist (esp the traditional mak andam) on putting makeup on the bride as if u r doing a chinese opera?? My wedding in Malaysia (bersanding) was like that too...chinese opera totally!!
