An Early Mother's Day

Hatice was talking to her Meşe hala (her auntie) the other day. She was using the handsfree phone. She went to her room, closed the door and talked to her hala..(i didnt know it then)

She was talking to her aunt and was saying something like...

"Mother's day is coming soon. Can you please buy me a mother's day gift for my mom? And also for my other aunts?"

She made her meşe hala took a piece of paper and pen and made her write the lists of possible gifts that can be bought for her mom and her other aunts. The lists done. Then meşe said to hatice...

"Hatice, you dont need to buy anything for me for the mother's day"

and my daughter's reply was...

"Yes, you r right hala"

hahaha...

and today..Sunday, Meşe, Merve, Keremcan, Zeynep and Hatice went out to buy the gifts for their mothers (on hala's expense of course).. The girls knew exactly what to choose of course.They are girls!! They basically chose the same thing (though merve managed to make them choose different colors of jewelleries)..and poor keremcan..being a guy and all..he was clueless of what to choose. He chose something in the end of course (Merve was there to show off her expertise)..and all kids went back to their dede's house (grandpa)..happily carrying the gifts.. Everything was meant to be a secret of course...

But ..kids will always be kids..and guys...never trust them with secrets... Halil told me about the phone talk last night and i suppose...zeynep told selim..n selim...bravo ...told funda and halimlar!! *chuckles* ..Meşe zaten fırca attı selime (Selim was terribly scolded by meşe already anyway)..

They entered baba's house..hatice immediatly gave me the gifts..one bracelet (from baddin supposedly) and one necklace (from hatice supposedly)..i wore them immediately..still wearing them... The other moms got their gifts a bit later...and yup..as u can see below... there's me and funda wearing our gifts..mine are blue and funda are i think brownish..goldish ones.. (pls correct me if i am wrong) Özlem..if u have time, can u snap urs as well so that i can add them here?

An early happy mother's day gifts from the kids...a suprise which didnt turn out as one...but trust me... Very...Very Happy Mothers ....i mean..who wouldnt?? and thanks Hala for indulging our kids....Trust me.. i never say anything to hatice about wanting any gifts for mother's day...The idea was hers and hers alone...
