Together..

What a pity that it takes an occasion like this for the zaim family; -aunties..cousins...nephews..nieces -
to get together. But at least here we are... almost all together. Mehves had left earlier on. Merve had a course to attend. Both of them are not in the picture...Still... the Quorum is almost full..

The occasion? The Quran reading-Dua for Burhanettin amca who passed away 5 years ago. *May Allah bless his soul- Al Fatihah*. He passed away a few months after hatice was born in 2001.

I have not the opportunity to get to know him closely but I remember clearly his passion for shells. He made paintings and decorated it with shells. Almost everyone's house has his memoir. And from the stories I heard, he used to drive muyessa yenge crazy with his passion.

As a newly bride, whenever i went to his house with halil, without fail he will show his thumb up and said *good..good*..I supposed he either meant *I look like a good bride* or he meant * I looked good*..whatever..but it was always the same *good..good* .

Of course, after the reading of Yasin and eating all the good food, Halit couldnt help but to show off his talent on the turkish flute called ...?? Halil and the rest of the male cousins sang together according to the tune. concert time....... *yawn* can I sleep now? hehehehe just kidding...they were pretty good. That I have to admit...
