Spring is in the air...

Spring is in the air...

I just got back from pazar..it is a combination of pasar tani and pasar malam where in rowsssssss of streets,people sell the very fresh vegetables and fruits...and top style clothing at an affordable price...that is of course if u dont care about the brand u r wearing.....all sold from morning till dawn...today pazar is near our living area.......

sun glasses are out, short sleeve shirts, capri pants..bikini even......and most importantly...strawberry!!!! hmmmmmmmmmm yep....it is out!! spring is in the air....and strawberry!! yummy yummmy yummy!!! ..it is still quite expensive though...3YTL for a kilo...still...the early season ones are always very nice to taste...cant escape it this week either...hatice made a special request for strawberries before i left for pazar....my dream is to go strawberry picking..but there is no such thing as that in turkey...well,i just have to settle watching those kids picking berries in teletubbies on BBC heheh

I came back home and discovered.....no iCE!! i forgot the fridge is not working...went to mahture yenge...we stocked the ice cubes there heheh bless her soul...she is the perfect candidate for storing things in the fridge whenever the fridge is not working...after all,she has 1 deepfreezer and 2 fridges and she lives alone!!...but u know what? alone she may be but in her deepfreezer area...it is totally fully stocked with meat,etc..etc..even frozen fresh tomatoes!! and looking at
my deepfreezer heheheh..ours is basically like almost bare? We like it fresh...the meat i mean *chuckles*

Went to yenge for the ice..got it...remember her relative? the one who went to baba for maske balosu and we did not recognise...that elderly lady? she kept thanking me for the great time she had at baba's and the nice food etc ..etc...what food? i didnt cook much....whatever i did cook was due to stress...the tesl blog server is down...lightning...when simah is stressed out..she cooks..she fattens everyone up including herself hehehe baddd simah!!!..!!

anyway.. ..came back home..the kids were sooo happy to see the ice!!! u know how baddin always drink cold water..and hatice...she is no different either... saime is in the kitchen doing something so i decided to come here.....but the pleasure of having to be able to drink coke (halil again sabotage me and bought Cola Turka) with loads and loads of ice? it is heaven!!!!! It is best when u fill the whole glass with ice...till the top...and u pour the coke in...bit by bit...slurp it up...oh..i forgot... with lemon inside.......heaven is on earth...

Well..i think saime is out of the kitchen already... baba will come for dinner..it wont do to have the house not tidy...besides, i wont cook anything much anyway...and baddin will be demanding to play with juje too..he simply loves juje...and hatice is so much wishing that she will be able to go to malaysia and play with the cats there....hmm... i wish too...i miss Malaysia very much...Maybe one day when we have the rezkh..we will be able to see that land i miss...and all the people in it..my love ones... Hey!! snap out of it simah!! come back to present life!! Strawberry remember? yep!! the strawberry is waiting...i have not told hatice i bought the strawberries...At least let me make someone happy.... Happy Happy Spring Day!!! and soon the flowers will bloom....those wild flowers on the grass..i wonder whether they are blossomed already in fenerbahce...i love to go there in spring....
